Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB) PCR Fluorescence Quantitative Kit
The Mycobacterium tuberculosis (TB) PCR Fluorescence Quantitative Kit is designed for quantitative detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis nucleic acids using real-time PCR technology for research use. The kit includes a nucleic acid extraction buffer that enables rapid DNA extraction directly from sputum samples. Alternatively, nucleic acids can be purified using the MagaBio Bacterial DNA Purification Kit. With optimized primers and probes targeting specific genomic regions of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the assay provides high sensitivity and specificity and is compatible with mainstream real-time PCR instruments. For Research Use Only
Product Description
Mycobacterium tuberculosis, commonly referred to as TB bacillus, is the bacterium responsible for causing tuberculosis (TB), a contagious airborne disease that primarily affects the lungs. TB remains a significant global health concern, with millions of new cases reported annually worldwide.
In this kit, a highly conserved insertion sequence of mycobacterium tuberculosis complex was selected as amplification region, and specific primers and fluorescent probes were designed. The contents of mycobacterium tuberculosis nucleic acid (TB- DNA) content in sputum, pleural effusion, or cerebrospinal fluid were detected by real-time fluorescent quantitative Taqman probe technology. And use non-competitive internal control to monitor the detection process.
Product Features
High Specificity
Targets the Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTB), including M. tuberculosis (H37Rv), M. bovis, M. africanum, and M. muris. Specially designed primers and TaqMan probes enable clear differentiation between MTB and NTM (non-tuberculous mycobacteria).
High Sensitivity
Optimized real-time PCR system ensures reliable detection and accurate quantitative analysis of MTB nucleic acids.
Easy Operation
Simple workflow with a streamlined procedure, allowing the entire detection process to be completed within approximately 2 hours.
Internal Control
Built-in internal control monitors the effectiveness of the PCR reaction and helps prevent false-negative results.
Storage Conditions
1. The kit need to be transported under freezing conditions.
2. The kit should be stored at -25°C--15°C away from light, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw more than 5 times.
3. The kit can be stored for up to 12 months if all components are kept in the manner above. (Please use the kit in the period of validity).
