For the design of this kit, the wild type sequence tested were selected from the reference genome of SARS-CoV-2(NCBI Reference Sequence: NC_045512.2). After comparison with the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Lambd and Omicron variants, the conserved sequences of ORF1ab, N and E genes are used to design specific primers and probes. Combined with LineGene 9600 Plus or QuantGene 9600 real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR instrument of Hangzhou Bioer Technology Co., LTD, it can achieve multiplex-detection, rapid diagnosis, and making sure that the wild-type and all variants are detected.

Product Description

This product selects the ORFlab gene (FAM), N gene (HEX) and E gene (ROX) regions of novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and designs three sets of primers and fluorescent probes. The three sets of primers and probes can specifically bind to the target sequences. When the RT-PCR amplification reaction is performed, the fluorescent signal (s) can be detected by a full-automatic fluorescent PCR detector to realize real-time online monitoring of the RT-PCR reaction. To control the entire extraction and detection process, an additional primer/probe for detecting the humangene was set as a non-competitive internal control during the extraction and detection process.

Storage Conditions

The kit should be stored at -25°C ~ -15°C away from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw.

The kit can be stored for 5 days at 2-8 C after opening.

The kit can be stored for up to 12 months if all components are kept in the manner above. Do not use after the stated expiry date.

The kit can be transported in foam box sealed with ice bags or dry ice at 2-8°C or lower.
